Associations of environmentalists will present today at the Bulgarian state agency “National security” (DANS) documents, which according to them contain proofs for illegal construction in protected areas, informs dnevnik.bg.
Among the investment projects, for which DANS will be approached, are all those for ski resorts in Rila mountain, in the municipalities “Sapareva bania”, “Samokov” and “Smolyan”.
According to Konstantin Dichev from “Green Balkans” the projects “Panichishte- the Lakes – Kabul peak”, “Kartala” and “Super Borovetz” are proof of the connection between the investors and “the organized political crime”.
The reason the environmentalists to seek the cooperation of the security agency is that the violations are done by ministers, officials and municipal authorities.
The projects in question affect the water resourceful areas in Rila mountain, which secure clean water to 2 million Bulgarians and the annihilation and pollution of the terrains is a matter of national security, believes the environmental coalition.
