Getting to Sapareva Banya and the Panichishte Ski Resort is best done by driving in a southern direction from Sofia on international highway E-79. Depending on traffic, this will take about 40 minutes to the Dupnitsa exit just by the petrol station . Going under the highway after 300 metres turn left and follow the signs to Samakov and Sapareva Banya. Follow this straight road and afte 9km Sapareva Banya is sign posted along a new straight new dual carriage way which leads to the town centre. Total journey time around 1 hour.

If you are taking public transport to Sapareva Banya, there is one direct bus daily at 2:00pm departing from the Ovcha Kupel bus station. This is located just off Tsar Boris III Boulevard to the southwest of Sofia. Buses run hourly from the same bus terminal to Dupnitsa where you can catch any of the Saparevo buses that run every half hour. All buses pass through, and stop at, Recilovo and Ovchartsi and will drop you off in front of the Tourist Information Center in Sapareva Banya. Allow a travel time by bus from Ovcha Kupal station of 1½ hours.

Panicheshte is sign posted from the main street in Sapareva Banya as you travel east.

For Saparevo continue along the main Dupnitsa- Samakov road for another 3km before turning right, as signed, to Saparevo.
